Discover the Most Instagrammable Spots in Midcoast Maine
Maine’s nickname is The Lighthouse State for a reason! It’s home to numerous lighthouses, and several of them are right here in the Midcoast region near Topside Inn. (In fact, you can see some lighthouses right from our property.) Some local favorites include Ram Island Lighthouse, Burnt Island Light, and Hendricks Head Lighthouse. Feel free to take a drive to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse for some pictures as well.
Our scenic state is also home to a variety of parks and preserves with hiking trails. Many of them are managed and protected by the Boothbay Region Land Trust. Consider lacing up your hiking boots, packing a backpack of water and snacks, and embarking on a few adventures. Our local hiking trails are perfect for getting closer to nature and admiring the local beauty.
While Midcoast Maine doesn’t have the same type of beaches that you’d expect to find in places like Florida, we do have plenty of them that are ideal for photography. Check out some of the beaches near our inn to see everything from sandy shores to rocky coastlines. You’ll love walking up and down these beaches as you capture pictures for your social media page.
