4. Lazy Jack
A vacation highlight for many of our guests, schooner boat tours provide a totally different sailing experience. These large sailing ships were built to carry cargo in the 19th and early 20th century. Windjammers were the grandest of merchant sailing ships, with three to five large masts and square sails. The Schooner Lazy Jack is the oldest windjammer in Boothbay Harbor and offers a two-hour daily sail as well as private charters. Help hoist the sails or take a turn at the wheel as you set a course out past Burnt Island Light, Squirrel Island, Ram Island Light and the outer islands of Boothbay.
5. Schooner Eastwind
Schooner Eastwind is the largest charter schooner in Boothbay Harbor and offers a delightful two-hour voyage at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m., and 6 p.m. Feel free to sit back and relax as you sail past remote islands accessible only by boat. The Smith family has extensive knowledge about sailing and is available to answer any questions you may have.
