Our Policies - Rates - and Deposits
- Room rates are for single or double occupancy, and always include full breakfast. In rooms with two beds, the extra person charge for more than two people is $15 per person per night.
- All charges are subject to 7% state lodging tax.
- Check-in begins at 3pm and check-out is by 11am.
- When your stay includes part of a weekend, a two-night minimum is usually required, and a three-night minimum may apply on long holiday weekends. However, you are welcome to check with us in case we have a one night opening when you need it.
- We can accommodate children age 6 and older.
- Topside Inn is a NON- SMOKING property. No smoking is allowed inside any guest room, the Inn, on porches, or on the lawns or other outdoor areas. Your complete cooperation is expected and appreciated.

Deposits, Cancellations & Refunds
A deposit of one night (plus 7% state tax) is required at time of reservation, and the balance is due upon arrival. At our discretion, a larger deposit may be required for stays of 5 nights or more.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express for deposit, and you may also pay any balance due by personal or travelers checks, or cash.
If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, notice is required 14 days in advance of arrival to obtain a full refund of deposit. With less notice, we will refund your deposit if we are able to rent the room to another party for the entire length of stay. If you provide less than 14 days advance notice, and we cannot rent the room, you are responsible for the entire balance as stated in your confirmation letter. The cancellation policy and fee also applies to changes in your arrival/departure date which result in a shorter stay, and no refunds are provided for late arrivals or early departures.
